Business Hotel, Mumbai
As part of its luxury lifestyle club premises, the Acres Club also includes Fern Residency, a 72 room boutique hotel primarily caters to corporate or business clientele. The hotel sits on a modest plot of land at close proximity to the Eastern Express Highway. Programmatic requirements included amenities such as a full service restaurant and bar, a swimming pool and a tennis court.

Second Home, Alibaug
To imagine a campus of self-lit buildings within the silhouettes of nature, set the grey cells working. While the glass façade was restricted only to the exterior face, a play of ‘frost’ & ‘clear’ glass came into play to define transparent & non-transparent requirements. Looking into the length of building, use of a combination color tinted glazing panels, became an interesting element to fragment the mass.

A minimalistic expression of a massive program in-built into a compact site. Ease of accessibility didn't hinder the want of privacy through raised gardens. Service Apartment, Mumbai
The initial programme of requirements was home to the business family. However, with passage of time , it took shape into a service apartment. The plans were an outcrop of the Development regulations applicable & maximum usage.In an effort to maximize the floor plate, the plans genereated came out with lot of offsets. The challenge, therefore, lay in harmonizing the offsets. Among other options, a contemporary screen looked to be promising.

Farm House, Alibag
A contemporary habitat nestled in the lap of nature. A simple cruciform plan in two levels, each level connected to landscape undulating levels flanked by two beautiful Banyan Trees. The design intent was to tread lightly on the natural setting of the site while not comprimising on the comfort of the users. The floating deck sits hanging admist the coconut grove.

Club, Nashik
A Commercial club incorporating a cricket field, tennis courts, badminton courts, gym, spa, and golf putting area, as well as restaurants, meeting rooms, a banquet facility, and guest rooms. Setup on a picturesque terrain overlooking a river, the proposal was a contemporary idiom of colonial architecture the Client was looking for. This option, however, wasn't chosen by the Client

Tata Consultancy Services a leading IT service company chose Banyan Park, a lush, wooded 22 acre site in the heart of Mumbai city to be its Global Headquarters.The Project involved working in collaboration with a reputed US design firm Todd Williams and Billie Tsein Architects. The result was an edifice of stone , Glass & Wood with splashes of colored fabric & tiles. The project truly is high on detail & can be termed "art of passion"

House on the hill , Conoor
A lavish terraced expression serving as the summer destination for a reputed business house in Mumbai. Richness of zinc & wood seems to help melt the massive house in its surroundings. The access to the .site was challenging owing to the steep contours. The connections between different entities in the complex provided ample opportunities to experiment on indoor-outdoor spaces

Competitions
Various competitions that didn't see light of the day. Proposals for War Memorial , Museum , 4500 Acres masterplan, Commercial offices to revitalization in eco-sensitive zone. The scale & sensitiveness of the projects although was challenging , the design solutions seemed to respond appropriately to the same. The entire design process was intense but fun filled.

A series of wins in competition hosted by IIT, Mumbai saw S&K coming out with relevant design solutions responding appropriately to the Clients requirement. While the first competition was all about class rooms , labs & their technical requirement, the second was for Residential development complete with convenience store , banquet hall

World Towers, Mumbai
World One is a 117 storeys, 430 meters tall residential High Rise apartment Tower Located in a 17.5 Acre Shrinivas Mill Property called World Towers at Upper Worli, Mumbai. World Towers is a mixed use development and includes 3 Residential Towers, Office Complexes, shopping avenue, Serviced Apartments and a Government Car Park. S&K was appointed Associate architect for its extensive and varied experience in execution of projects in Mumbai .

Luxury Weekend Villas, Karjat
A project which was driven by the Client's passion to create an unprecedented luxury product. The Clients push to move away from the convention led to the idea of exploring shell structure. The site too lend to architecture in a big way. It was supposed to be a series of such luxury gateaways amidst the panoramic backdrop.

Customer Experience Center, Pune
For Tech Giant based out of Pune, the aim was to create a state of art experience center providing the Tech Company edge over its competitors. The shell for the CEC was planned on the top of existing office & hence had the constraints of structural components. The interior spaces were weaved around Lounge, an auditorium , the main CEC display area, conference rooms & some breakout landscaped zones.

Designed & executed for a small developer in Bhilai, Chattisgarh. The development is a single building with 2 BHK & 3 BHK apartments. The plan repeats at alternate levels. The architectural language is inspired from "strands" with distinct layers.
